Yad Sarah, with its history of helping the public through lending medical rehabilitative equipment, also helps improve the quality of life for the vision impaired by lending equipment to assist in reading and everyday activities. The center is housed in Rishon LeZion at Yad Sarah's Guidance and Resource Center.

Hand and stand magnifiers, telescopes and other visual aids available for loan. In addition, the Center has reading machines which provide the greatest magnification power.  

The center is staffed by volunteers supervised by optometrists specializing in low vision. All volunteers undergo special training to enable them to attend to the patients and their families on a professional level. Yad Sarah service representatives install the special equipment in the homes of the vision-impaired and provide first-hand operating instructions to ensure the equipment will be utilized to the fullest.
