Ida has lived through more than most. As a Holocaust survivor, she endured trauma that shaped her life and now spends her days in a nursing home near Lod, far from her family.
When Ida heard that her granddaughter's wedding would be held an hour away in Ofakim, a small city in the western Negev, her biggest wish was to be there with her loved ones. She and her family turned to Yad Sarah’s wheelchair-accessible van service.
